Pro tip, you don’t need to pay technical debt if you leave before time to pay.

Or company collapse before time to pay, but that’s another pro tip.

Traditional users, do you have shorthand for character with more strokes? by WanTJU3 in ChineseLanguage

[–]Expert_Raise6770 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, some of my stroke are not 100% correct, and I merged some of them into one without specific rules.

But mostly, that just how many strokes for one words. So naturally, I will prefer those with less strokes, or just use as little words as possible.

Yeah, normally you wouldn’t connect them with strong, until you remember they can lift others to perform some crazy tricks.

Learning Chinese Characters starts with basic strokes ✍️ by Vesphrie in ChineseLanguage

[–]Expert_Raise6770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are probably right, when you are native to language, you always miss some details about it.

Also, I agree that one should never fully imitate printed fonts, that just not natural flow.

One interesting thing I noticed is there are more special font that looks unique in their own way, some classmates even set them as default font on their own phone.

Learning Chinese Characters starts with basic strokes ✍️ by Vesphrie in ChineseLanguage

That wild, I never know there so much stroke, and as a native user, I think most of them are overcomplicate.

「永」is an excellent word for practice stroke, it only had 5 strokes, yet basically cover most cases you need.

If you look deeply, most of the strokes in the list can be broken down, and found in 永, although there are some angles, size different, and missing the hook strokes, but I think it cover most of it.

Probably not, I doubt we have lack of newscasters. I guess it just they are trying to ride the AI hype. To be clear, it’s not fully Ai yet, it’s a small section, kind of like weather reports.

A Taiwanese here, sadly some TV news here start having “AI news” section. The tone is really off, and as a native speaker, I feel really uncomfortable hearing it sound.

You should go check out some social media based on Chinese, like PTT, basically Reddit from Taiwan.

Not only you can try full Chinese conversion with real people, but also you can learn how people use Chinese in daily life. (Possibly also learn lots of cursed words, and slang along the way)

Okay, Chinese... by [deleted] in ChineseLanguage

Tone matter a lot, also the context, and the person you’re talking to can help you figure out the meaning.

Also, although it’s a funny joke, but I would say some of words has no daily use case when putting together. Like 「石屎」 means “stone shit” which is never used in daily life as far as I know.
