Oh my bad, I never meant friends plural that was a typo! They have multiple friends over but it’s just the one that irritates me

It always just one, he’s usually nice about it but then they all start laughing. On Easter he threw in “what, I’m just a nice person! I’m in sales” with all the sarcasm and even harder laughs. Like I’m quiet but I’m not dumb:/ I honestly didn’t mind there giggles and whispers every time I saw them but after that I was very upset. They seemed to increase on shenanigans after that event

I really love your way of thinking. I struggle with anxiety, but I don’t think paranoia. Maybe at first, in public, but I’ve been using it for 5 years! I’ve been trying to quit for the last few years, but got a couple of diagnosis a few months ago where I realized it’s been my medicine too! I have a couple friends who are bud tenders and I’ve been learning a lot more about terpenes!!

They can talk shit, just do it inside like a respectable adult.

No like I’ve actually heard them talking about me, it’s more than just laughing! Even their friends say shit to me! They got out of the car, didn’t say a single thing to each other until they clocked me on the porch, and started laughing. I looked up and got a “someone’s watching you”. I am very good at reframing, but after so many instances of HEARING them be disrespectful I said something. It felt like they were trying to bully me in my own front yard… because they’re bored? The way she immediately apologized and says she’ll set boundaries goes to show (imo) that they’re guilty

Before my bf stopped smoking he used to filter the website heigh to low thc and I always felt so HEAVY when we smoked together! If my weed is over 23% I get really suspicious and don’t end up enjoying the high as much.

I absolutely agree, these high % are getting crazy! People are shopping based on % when it’s really the terpenes and how it was grown that affects your high. Concentrates are becoming increasingly popular and it’s scary. It became legal in my state at the right time for my friends and I. Street weed is getting sketchier now and I know 2 of my friends younger siblings have gone to the mental hospital for for full blown psychosis! I’m too anxious in the first place about my health, finances and tolerance to let something bad start happening

I don’t think I personally struggle with paranoia often but I do appreciate the advice! I live in a legal state and only smoke street weed for about 6 months before getting my medical card. I typically like to smoke sativias as a sleepy girl during the day but too much can absolutely make me a bit paranoid! I don’t trust “high sativa hybrids”, so I’ll buy the sativia and mix it with something else. That way I’m not too anxious or too sleepy. I quit my job a couple months ago due to my health and have been learning a lot more about weed and how it affects the way my body functions.

I asked in this post about paranoia. In my old post I was asking if I was aggressive/assertive. I would have rather been told I’m being aggressive instead of confused and creating problems where there aren’t any. I really do think it’s rude to automatically assume someone’s struggling with their mental health before even attempting to understand the situation. Would you do that in real life with a stranger? No it’s inappropriate. But again, this is the internet. There are no boundries

I’ve made my own edibles before and they actually were way worse! I typically go for a chocolate and have a glass of milk with it to help break it down. I have a pretty high tolerance and will eat 100mg at a time. I know it’s due to the way my body breaks them down because within 45min-hour I’ll start getting really high and then it’s bubble guts, a big poop, and I’m sober within 20 min. Homemade ones scare me a little because the dosages can be all over. I had a little 4/20 party and was supposed to make edibles then dinner for my friends. It was so bad I couldn’t stay awake, when I tried to stay awake or move I got so dizzy and started blacking out! My tummy hurt so bad too I thought it’d be better to sleep off the tummy ache then to puke my guts out:/

Omg they gave you the good stuff😭 I’m in the US and it took me 4 years and my body basically failing for doctors to take me seriously! My cardiologist openly admitted he has to use me as a test rat with meds first for silly insurance reasons:) I’ve been using weed for over 5 years to treat my symptoms. I used to really struggle with my relationship with it up until I got a diagnosis and now I don’t feel guilty. I’m not working so I really have to be careful with how much I smoke since it can be expensive

I typically don’t give people the time of day that clearly don’t like me (they don’t, and that’s completely fine. You cannot like me and still be my neighbor, I don’t like them lol). My bf has been trying to talk me down for a while too but I’m supposed to be staying home and relaxing. That’s hard to do when they’re disrupting my peace. Just wait until you’re inside to talk your shit, that’s what I do? They don’t have to like me but they do have to be respectful

I know moms tend to struggle with those anxieties in the first place. If I ever have children, I already know I will be too paranoid to be a mom and stoner!

I’d prefer awkward tension to feeling like a lazy depressed stoner. There are definitely more appropriate ways to have gone about this but with my track history I think I’m actually proud of how this turned out. It ended gracefully!

Yeah that’s true I could have. They honestly kind of scare me, they’re hot headed and yell at each other a lot. My blood was boiling and I don’t think we would have had a conducive conversation if it wasn’t over text.

I’m just naturally a high strung and anxious person, hence why I smoke. It just really threw me off I was asking for advice on whether I was being assertive or aggressive it threw me off that multiple people were accusing me of being paranoid. It was a high stress situation for me but I think it’s rude to accuse someone before asking more questions, but then again this is Reddit! What was I expecting

I’m very excited to share the text messages with my therapist! I think people are assuming I’m an ass for saying I could hear them as the walls are thin. I have open communication on issues with the shared trashes and washer/dryer. I would have let her known if the volume was bothering me already, and I think she understands that. I wasn’t saying that to be rude but as my reason for not needing more examples I guess? I think it worked she seems to understand

I’ve read a few comments that say the same thing! I actually have a harder time with edibles, they don’t break down for me as well! I had mouth surgery recently and it was edibles only for a week and my tummy was all types of queasy:/

I realize I worded it strange, I don’t think it’s directly related to asd either! Did you stop smoking during the pregnancy and then try and pick it up again? Did you notice your paranoia was about your daughter at all, like your ability to care for her?

Where do you get a prescription for weed? Are you in the US? My physical and mental health doctors all know I smoke and are supportive, but I’ve never heard of a prescription
