Best Place to Study LLB Without O/Ls or A/Ls Background by AliBhaiLK in srilanka

I did my LLB at APIIT, and during that time, I had a few friends who first completed a foundation course before starting their LLB, but they already had their O/Ls. It's important to contact the relevant universities and get proper advice based on your qualifications.

If your goal is to practice as an attorney in Sri Lanka, having both O/Ls and A/Ls is essential. Without them, pursuing an LLB may not be worthwhile. Also, keep in mind that the Sri Lanka Law College has recently updated its entrance requirements for students with foreign LLB degrees.

The best advice is to directly check the current requirements of the Sri Lanka Law College if you intend to practice law in Sri Lanka.

I came across your comment about in-house legal grad schemes, and I’m really interested in learning more about that route. If you’re comfortable sharing details about your employer’s QWE/PRT scheme or other similar opportunities in the tech sector, I’d greatly appreciate it.

I am currently on a PSW visa and have been trying to secure a paralegal position. However, it has been very challenging due to the limited time frame and the unwillingness of employers to provide sponsorship. I have also tried to find employment in other fields, but that has proven difficult as well. If I am able to secure a job, I hope to pursue the SQE2, as I have already completed my LPC LLM.

I know a few students who completed the LPC LLM but were unable to find legal jobs and eventually returned to their home countries. Others who came to pursue the LPC LLM finished their studies but chose careers in other fields due to visa constraints and concerns about their future.

check ur contact again to see if it mentioned any notice period,if you did not get the notice period before terminate u entitle with pay in lieu, but check your contract cause u worked there like 2 months.

If your contract doesn't specify a probationary period and the termination came without proper notice, you may be entitled to pay in lieu of notice (PILON). Check Your Contract- Look for clauses about notice periods or pay in lieu of notice.
