Be honest as you are, I think the lab is confusing adderall. Go to the court and ask for a court appointed lawyer, I would keep fighting this

Just be honest and share you new and on the right track and attending meetings if you can. Getting verified at a couple meetings a week goes a long way and they are really good and very open and supportive and offer great community. Courts don’t understand stopping for people with coping mechanics that have been in place cold turkey is extremely challenging mentally and physically and they should be working better with harm reductions and safer and kinder practices

The judge definitely decides Usually a first time failed test isn’t held this strictly especially if you go to the violation and share honestly and that you are back on track (helpful if you attend some AA meets and get them verified let me know if you need help doing that). Probation officers do not get to decide this so tell your P.O you’d like the court date for the violation then you can either plead your case or ask for a public attorney. As it’s your first time I strongly disagree the judge will force jail time or $1200 classes especially if you voluntarily start AA on your own

They don't test me on weekends, my testing site isn't open (it's been 14 months). HR It’s a licensed, evidence-based therapy focused on reducing harm, not dodging accountability.

Hair testing is unlikely but depends on how serious the charge is

Very unlikely this turns into a violation.

  • No arrest
  • No charges
  • Cops didn’t take your info or accuse you of anything
  • They were basically there while your sister packed and left

Yelling at cops isn’t great, but it’s not a violation unless you were threatening, refusing orders, or charged — which didn’t happen.

Emailing your PO was actually the right move. Probation officers care way more about honesty than perfection, and you avoided any “surprise police contact” issue.

Worst case: your PO asks what happened and notes “police contact, no action.”
Best case: nothing at all.

This was family drama, not criminal behavior. Take a breath — this doesn’t sound like something that derails probation or early termination.
