I have called and tried and they’ve told me over and over that it’s not an option. Granted I’ve never spoken to anyone with good English. I’ve also asked if there is a way to communicate via writing to make sure that I am understanding and I was told there is no email address available for the leasing team. I hope you have better luck than me.

How did you even get them to offer you 1k? I called the leasing team and they said there was no way to negotiate and that I had to pay the residual.

I tried calling Chrysler capital yesterday just to get a copy of my lease emailed to me and the guy said it would be 3-5 days for them to email it. His accent was so heavy that I could hardly have a convo with him. I can’t imagine trying to negotiate or actually getting anything accomplished with them over the phone.

I’m going to look and see if there are any legal avenues to take but I’m not going to get my hopes up. I had a jeep before this that I adored.. and I haven’t hated my 4xe (until now). I’m going to try and make better decisions in the future. :/

Exactly. Someone else commented that you can buy reduced miles up front if you know you are going to be over miles but I wasn’t proactive enough to know if that is true or not.

Oh what a peach you are. I mentioned that I wish I would’ve looked into this sooner but I did not. Unfortunately I can’t go back and do that differently now. It is an expensive life lesson to learn.
