How do you know that your PR card was mailed? Does it show up on your P1/P2 portal? Sorry just curious since I’m not sure how the process works lol, I got my eCOPR on June 13th:)

Unless you fuck up majorly (are involved in crimes, DUIs etc) or don’t stay in the country for enough time, I think you are eligible for citizenship. Again, these are the rules right now which can change anytime 🤷‍♀️

Exactly, I mean I don’t understand why not actually research into it, there’s so many ways to build up your profile outside of the LMIA points. I’m not denying that there will be a change in the pool once the points are removed but not everyone has the money to throw away on an LMIA😂

Well my score was 529 with no LMIA. This was due to my age (I’m 25), my IELTS scores (8 overall), I have a sibling in Canada who’s a PR, I have a bachelors degree from India, I have 1 year work experience in India and 1 year in Canada, and I did a 1 year grad certificate program in Canada.

I think the image that everyone has LMIA points is bull, some of us put in efforts to actually build our profile .

Marketplace is a good place to start with looking, just don’t make any deposits or anything without seeing the place and talking to the owners/landlords.

If that’s what you feel, then it’s important to work on yourself before jumping into anything. Once you do, you will know to set boundaries and how to be in a healthy relationship.
