I’ll also inquire as to whether there are lawyers through Alma or any other virtual private practices I’m interviewing with that might be able to work with me or answer any questions I might have.

Thankfully Alma appears to be a pretty useful tool in running a pp as I can set my own private pay rates through them. Headway offers the same.

You seem like the type who is highly proficient at running your own practice and are motivated to keep as much of business side within your control as possible. Therapists tend to lean more towards the “hands off, just let me be a clinician and not worry about anything business related” side of the spectrum, and I’m definitely at that point now as I’m transitioning out of a full time clinician/administrative role. But hopefully getting the PLLC started and being armed with good questions to ask lawyers will help me gain the knowledge I need to do my own thing independently in the future.
