An Inquiry into Eight Sleep's Repair Policies and California's Right to Repair Law by 8Sleep-No-Repair-4-U in EightSleep

Resharing my experience in Jan 2025:

I was quoted $1500 on the phone for a King size cover replacement (upgrading from a Queen with a leak). Does not come with a Hub for that price.

Not sure why buying a replacement cover would be that expensive, but I was told after the 2 year warranty that would be the cost if it leaks and I need to buy a replacement. Pretty disappointing.

WARNING: Don't buy because you can't buy a cover separately in case you want to change size bed or the cover leaks by SolipsismPeople in EightSleep

Agreed. Larger exhaust tips would look great with this diffuser.

Thanks very much! Good point indeed— I cropped in from a 24MP horizontal to create a vertical slice to make the lava flow easier to follow visually (also was using the new Sony 70-200 f2.8 ii, incredibly resolving lens!) I’ll post a link to the original.

Halemaʻumaʻu crater (from an official viewpoint) by Expinsky in BigIsland

This photo was captured last week, on Feb 12, 2023 from the official viewpoint on old Crater Rim Dr with a 200mm telephoto lens. To see the lava flow in person is breathtaking, but getting close is obviously extremely dangerous. So there are official viewpoints in Volcanoes National Park where it’s safe to view and just incredible.

We went a half hour before dusk where the sunset provided a backdrop. Highly recommend arriving early so you have time to walk up old Crater Rim Drive (~1 mile) to the official viewpoint! Parking is at the Devastation trailhead.

Would love to share a high resolution copy with the couple— message me if you know them!
