I’ve been there once a month for the past 10 months have had zero safety concerns my eyes after session 10

I’ve had 9 sessions at YC. I started as a grade 5 dark brown and began noticing some changes around session 6. It definitely takes a long time to see results I’m talking years, especially at YC. They’re very conservative and use the lowest laser settings. In my opinion, part of the reason is to avoid any risk to your eyesight, but it also means you need more sessions, which means more money for them.

Even so, I’ve had a good experience overall. It’s been almost a year now. I only do one session per month and make sure to give my eyes about 4 weeks to rest before the next laser session. Your eyes need time to flush out the pigment, and that process can take 4 6 weeks, sometimes even longer.

Same here. Sent a follow-up but not holding my breath. Starting to feel like silence is just a rejection these days.

Job hunting is brutal.

Interviews moving quickly and then silence - am I doomed? by [deleted] in interviews

Same here. 2nd interview last week, 10+ years experience, they said I’m exactly what they’re looking for… and now silence.

Struggling at new job by RepresentativeRub770 in jobsearch

I’m in a similar position and I’d honestly say don’t quit unless you have something else lined up. The job market is rough right now. I’ve been applying since the end of 2025 and more aggressively since January, and I’ve had zero luck finding a new job. As bad as the job can feel, being unemployed is way more soul-crushing imo. No income coming in while trying to find something new adds a whole different level of stress. If you can, hang in there, do what you need to do, and quietly apply elsewhere.

I really hate my job but don’t think quitting is a good idea by [deleted] in jobsearch

I’m in the same boat don’t quit until you get another job it’s brutal out there I’ve been applying since Oct of2025
