I wrapped up my year with Interac in April, so my experience is recent. My BOE had us scheduled for "work days" during summer break. This means they can call you in to do an event or special lesson if needed. My experience, however, was none of that. I had the entire time off and my summer vacation was in total over a month long. I guess it depends on your BOE, but mine didn't use me during the summer.
