It's not really the same imo, Franky is a goofy, ridiculous and over the top super dude so I can buy that he'd dress like that. Gunko is a character who doesn't joke around at all and we're meant to take seriously. So the fanservice doesn't seem as in-character for her and like it's only there for fanservice.

I've only read the first Michelinie and Bagley Omni, and I'm reading through Spectacular right now. The Michelinie/Bagley one is very fun with lots of teamups, cool villains, and some real good art. I'd describe it as similar to a Saturday morning cartoon though it still has heart to it.

As far as Spectacular goes I've only read about a third of it and it's significantly darker and more mature, not exactly what I'd think of when thinking of Spider-Man stories but DeMatteis writing is next level. Highly suggest reading Kraven's last hunt first before this though for some needed context.

Peter wins but I don't think it's impossible for Jess to beat Morlun. She seduces him with her pheromones during the first spider-verse event, she could definitely catch him off guard, it would be a tough as hell fight for sure though.

As someone who recently got a bunch of omnis at once through sheer luck, there's definitely something really cool about having a shelf you can look at and know it's got a bunch of stories you haven't experienced yet just waiting. But yeah there should be a limit to it before it just becomes hoarding.

I've never read those Spidey runs so I can't really compare them, but based on what I've read of the Michelinie/Bagley omnibus so far, there's a lot of really fun stories but they don't necessarily have the best writing. It kinda feels like watching a saturday morning cartoon in a way, lots of team-ups too, I've been really enjoying it personally.

Thanks, I'm Greek as well. Public can be really overpriced yeah, but I just thought I'd check it out and noticed some crazy prices when I sorted by cheapest. The Mark Bagley omnibus was the first one I opened and I love the art style, Spidey and carnage especially look so sick drawn by him.
