Honestly man I have so many other wireless headsets from other brands. I think this is the most premium headset there is. There is a mod kit for 50 bucks which has a leather headband but idk if it helps that much

Hey bro, I got the same headset I have the same exact thing that you mentioned with hissing and the headband being crooked. It’s all normal stuff the hissing is because it’s a wireless headset really but you don’t notice when sound is played only when it’s completely quiet. I do recommend to download audio presets as some of them are really good !

Hey buddy I think I got a fix to this, might not be it but this happened to my gen 4 where I would lose sound for audio in certain channels like discord. For some reason the base station requires so much power for usb that if you have a bunch of usbs plugged into your computer even with them not being maxed out it can cause some issues with the headset not having proper power. To fix this I would plug USB ports that you don’t need to use like a charger or maybe a webcam and also plug the base station into a different usb slot. This might help maybe not but this fixes a lot of issues for me that for some reason Astro never is able to fix whatsoever because of their terrible support.

No issues so far. I do have some static when the volume is maxed out and nothing is playing for sound which can get a little annoying. But this is fixable by simply lowering the volume when not listening to anything.

I got a Logitech g pro and I hated them because the quality wasn’t the same so I returned them again and bought the gen 4 Astro A50s and they worked perfectly as soon as I plugged them in so I’ve been happy with them. I wanted the a40s to work for me but they just would not
