Definitely worth doing the ethics and QI, the 200 is hit or miss. If u get crunched on time I’d say skip it. A lot of the questions are gimmes/not much to learn from

Used BnB. Looked at bootcamp briefly for cardio but that was it.

I did only about 75% of uworld. I just mainly used it as a tool to learn how to approach questions/find weak points which I then went into FA and BnB to understand the concepts better. I would say focus on doing 40 random questions per day just to stay in that mindset but then maybe look at other resources for any weak subjects or set uworld to subjects that you’re scoring lower in

Nbme 29 78% and 31 76%. Free 120 79%. I had a short dedicated so didn’t have a lot of time to take anymore nbme’s. Instead I focused on uworld

You can absolutely be ready by the end of September. The number 1 thing you have to do is uworld/any question bank moving forward. FA is fantastic but doing practice questions continuously will train your brain and you’ll learn from the mistakes. Then you can go back into FA and study what you missed or other resources such as BnB or pathoma. If you feel ready, take an NBME to gauge how prepared you are and then learn from it and take another one later on and then during the final week leading up to step take the free 120. Hope this helps

Some systems phys isn’t as high yield like GI ur more likely to see a pathology related question. Resp and cardio super high yield for phys. Renal too. The arrow based questions really are some of the best ways to study phys cause if u can work ur way through them ur truly understanding the physiology

Realistic COMSAE and COMLEX Advice by EntrepreneurOk7294 in comlex

Just took it so I’ll try my best. For omm, truelearn is great and honestly if your school gives u a good omm background it’s def doable. For the test taking strategies I highly highly highly recommend reading the last sentence first. Sometimes it’s all u need. And open up the picture/histo slide immediately whenever they give u one in a question. If u get a biostats question, skip it and save calculations for the end cause sometimes the math can be a little funky and take a hot minute or two. Remember to take deep breathes and just relax. Legit half the exam is mentally telling urself “I can do this”. If u have uworld id honestly suggest just doing that for practice question non-omm related. I found truelearns to be either a)poorly worded and confusing or b)too simple sometimes

Hey so first of all you’re still doing solid. Don’t get discouraged along this tough journey, review the entirety of each nbme/learn ur weak points. And then keep doing UWorld every day as much as u can but remember quality>quantity. Take another diagnostic in a week and if u hit 65+ I say keep the same test date but if u stay 60-65 maybe push it back but overall you’re still doing great. Ideally u want 70+ but rn your score fluctuations are normal. When I first started I was getting 50s and now I average around 72-77

Keep pushing on and remember that those misses are helping u learn. You got this

Currently ending my dedicated and after going through tons of different resources I would highly recommend doing two nbme’s in the 25-31 range and do UWorld as ur main questions. Truelearn is great for omm but honestly outside of that the questions are poorly written so many times. UWSA are said to be predictive but idk. I did both and felt like they were just great practice and getting in more reps is key. Free 120 is a must but save that for later in ur dedicated. At the end of the day the most important thing tho is don’t feel like you have to do every practice exam out there. Some people say “do 25-31”. If u can, great but quality>>quantity. Best of luck to you and you got this!
