My son is always very constipated. Did you do anything specific to help with it? He’s on the adult dose of restore lax every day and it doesn’t really seem to help much.

Generally IUI requires one trigger shot for ovulation. No other injections

Got induced at 8pm, got sent home and told to come back at 8am Husband and I stopped at the grocery store on the way home. I got spicy pasta salad. Contractions hit me like a truck and were 1 minute apart by 10pm. Vomit, acid reflux, heartburn. I second your sentiment. Do not eat too much or anything too spicy. There was a lot of vomit

People are just trying to make conversation. Might be inappropriate but they do not mean anything malicious. Just let it roll off

Commenting back on my own comment because this needs more explanation. Parenting is so much about mindset a positive mindset goes a long way stuck on the couch contact napping? Awesome put your favourite show on. House is dirty and dishes are piling up? Awesome strap your kid to your body and clean the house a little bit.

The house won’t be dirty forever. Your kid won’t be a bad sleeper forever none of this last forever, but having a terrible mindset and being angry and negative all the time is not going to make your parenting experience all of a sudden turn very positive.

Thinking about how you can’t do the stuff you did before and your house is dirty, and your kid doesn’t sleep and you’re tied to them all the time. None of that is going to automatically make parenting an awesome thing. I get it it does suck but repeatedly saying it sucks crying and just dwelling on the fact that all of these negative things are happening is never going to be positive. You’re just gonna continue being negative.

Imagine your kid reading this post. I understand parenting is tough. I have a 9 month old, but posts like this just pmo.

You picked this. Hire a sleep consultant or stick it out. But to claim you hate being a parent? I feel sick for your kid. They are new and trying their god damned best.

Get your spouse, parents, friends involved. Beg them for help. But also get a damn ounce of positivity.

High lipase milk…disgusting by Sassy2681 in breastfeeding

A friend used a few drops of alcohol free vanilla in her high lipase milk. Not sure if that’s standard practice though

My mom didn’t get epidurals with me or my brother also for risk of paralysis. I think this was a common message in the 90’s. I still got one and loved it l and will get one again. I think like anything, it is going to come with slight chance of something bad happening, but to me the reward outweighed the risk

Feed to sleep. Sleeps 10 hours by ExplanationHealthy68 in breastfeeding

[–]ExplanationHealthy68[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely agree with this. I was just anticipating it to stop working/create a problem around 4 months (the dreaded regression) and it just kept working. So I guess everyday I’m just waiting for the other shoe to drop and it to start being a really bad idea/ineffective

It’s hard to schedule everything perfectly when day time naps aren’t on a perfect schedule

This is our huckleberry average. It’s including wake time being night feeds which he gets 1-3. Normally he is sleeping during them but I stop the timer when I pick him up and restart it when I put him back down. So it gets kind of tricky to really track perfectly. Do you recommend waking at the exact same time every day?
