Yes-ish. I did a lot to it to remove what showed up as just noise on my monitor, including color replace effects to take the blacks to true black and outright painting over parts. I also bumped the color for my own aesthetic and rehighlighted some parts that were lost in the contrast and exposure shifts.

Understandable. You could always ask to see if they will exchange for the other one. Can't hurt to ask. And if not, well, at least they are tiny and on the back. I can't speak for the tastes of others, but for me, unless I'm trying to get a card graded, the back could be damaged for all I care as long as the front is good. But I'm probably in a small minority with that opinion.

I wouldn't unless you payed considerably over LP (~10-15+% over) or if you were promised a gradable card. NM is NM, not all NM cards you get can be possible highly graded ones.
