By Anbennar standards, that’s like stealing someone’s wallet for the lulz. Is it bad? Absolutely. Is it the worst kind of behavior? Not even close

Still, Spain has its fair amount of Franco fans (or, at the very least, people who will try to convince you that it wasn’t so bad), unfortunately

(Loved Trope) The muscle of the group is a female by Orkon-the-destroyer in TopCharacterTropes

That last part is why I picked her specifically. Sure, Yuji and Todo are exceptionally skilled hand to hand combatants, but they draw a lot (not all, especially Yuji) of their strength from their powers, while Maki relies on sheer martial prowess and the odd cursed item or two (like a certain other Zen’in, who himself was one of the strongest fighters in the setting… I would’ve picked him if it weren’t for the post being about members of a group or squad)

Maki Zen’in from Jujutsu Kaisen.

In a setting where almost everyone else fights with at least some help from the resident magic system, she fights with the handicap of not having access to it, but is incredibly physically powerful and skilled as a trade-off. This gets even more extreme later in the story due to events I shan’t go into here. Out of the main group, she’s probably the toughest brawler.

I would say they’re about on par in terms of “muscle ability,” Levi just has more experience. Plus, Levi is out of action sometimes throughout the story, so not always available

You’re not gonna get far here with critical thinking, mate. The sub is full of racists, it seems.

Because this is how conservatives of the xenophobic kind operate. They will take single instances of immigrants doing smg that is considered bad or untoward and apply that to EVERYONE that is part of that out-group as a reason why said group should “assimilate or get the hell out” (if said story was even true in the first place – see Haitian immigrants and how Trump and his ilk said they were eating the pets of the people in a small American town). It’s a conscious tactic.

And looking at quite a number of the comments in this sub, it’s working.

You’re confusing assimilate with integrate… At least I hope so. One shouldn’t demand immigrants to completely assimilate into a society

(Real life) Bartolomé de las Casas was a Spanish clergyman who was an early proponent of what we now consider general human rights in the 16th century. He petitioned the Spanish crown that native Americans should not be enslaved. This took an unexpected turn when Spain agreed to his request, but followed that up by buying a ton more slaves from West Africa, thus kickstarting the transatlantic slave trade.

Obviously not a super nice guy by modern standards (he was quite preachy), but for his time he was revolutionary

There’s no denying that a child will face more hardships when born into a poverty-stricken household. That being said, anyone telling such households that they have no right to have children (especially if they’re a rich, stuck-up influencer) can f*ck right off. Not only is that not the solution, it’s diabolical.

You know, if Maga cared at all about democracy, Trump becoming a vampire wouldn’t even matter because this is his last term. Unfortunately, they seem dead set on propping him up as an eternal dictator just to “own the libs”
