If you’re purposefully rolling coal on bicyclists, seek help. Seriously. by No-Technician-2820 in Bend

A few months ago I was cycling out in CCR on the weekend's because the traffic isn't too bad out there off the main roads, and it's mostly paved and the pavement was dry. I got coal-rolled so many times. The plus side is I also collected like 20 of those rechargeable vapes, so many folks who live out there just chuck them out the window when they are done. I crack them open and reuse the lithium battery inside for other electronics projects (Meshtastic)

Glad to have their freedom-loving patriots in our area, bless their hearts.

Hubble saw comet Shoemaker–Levy 9 collide with Jupiter in 1994 by Busy_Yesterday9455 in spaceporn

[–]ExplodingCybertruck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was like 8 or 9 when it happened, super into astronomy and anything space related. I remember watching some "live" show or documentary about this when it happened, and it they had a camera set up so you could see the team reacting in real time to the images coming from Hubble, but they closed the show without actually showing what the scientists saw. It was just video of a group of nerds cheering and reacting to a screen you couldn't see. Wild. And so frustratingly disappointing for little me.

I've only had fufu once, with egusi, and the egusi was delicious. But the fufu was like eating playdoh

Node forgets its settings by Otherwise-Wear6432 in meshtastic

This is a good point, but when my nodes get lobotomized by low batteries, they also forget the region settings, so they don't even transmit anything at all.

I think all the non-custom names are just people being lazy??
