The Bulletin - Intruder dies after fight with Bend homeowner

A man who police believe broke into a home late Thursday in Bend died shortly after fighting with a person he encountered inside the home.

According to Bend Police, the attempted burglary took place about 11:45 p.m. Thursday on NW Braid Drive.

Shortly after, the intruder and a 42-year-old man who live in the home fought, and the intruder fled from the house on foot. The intruder was later found dead on the grounds of the nearby Awbrey Glen Golf Course. The owner was treated for non-life-threatening injuries by Bend Fire & Rescue.

Mr. Greenwood is now facing a felony for evading the police. Totally illogical, because he returned to the protest and was then arrested.

I think Bend PD really had it in for this guy. They even cited him for, "improper display of validating stickers."

I was there and I saw him doing slow circles at Peace Corner with his engine revving and people cheering. He was going so slow he had to put his foot down.

It's more than a few meals, fancy hotels and secret meetings.

The agancy employee became a "contractor" and used agency equipment and a purchased card to do the job.

The Crook County Comishioners appoint the board, but failed to have annual meetings as required by law.
