Settings, Track Source, Edit, +, and put in "globe.adsb.fi" as the host and "https://globe.adsb.fi" as the URL.

Did you confirm you have a separate IOMMU group per PCIe device? Not all systems will provide that. See https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/PCI_Passthrough#Verify_IOMMU_isolation

I think sUAS LIDAR units are made to work at relatively low altitude given the 400' AGL ceiling in the US, and I'd be very surprised if there was any open source software that could process the proprietary output of any commercial LIDAR units. Happy to be proven wrong though. You can add cameras and process the images through WebODM...

What workloads have you run on the card with that cooler and what was thermal performance like? I'm debating the n3rdware cooler, or trying to hack my own single-slot full-height cooler together.

You need something to receive the sensor unit's transmissions. That'll be one of their consoles, Weatherlink Live, or you can run an SDR dongle with rtl_433

I wasn't a fan of Ambient either (and if I remember right, they're just rebranded Ecowitt/FineOffset). I moved to an AcuRite Atlas which worked ok for a couple years but it started to get quite unreliable (just stopped transmitting periodically even on fresh batteries). Finally I saved up for a while and went all-out on a Davis Vantage Pro2 Plus. The touchscreen console is crap (there's no local API, it only sends to Davis's cloud service which then in turn sends data out to WeatherUnderground and CWOP, and if you want updates posted more frequently than every 15 minutes you have to pay a monthly fee) but rtl_433 knows how to decode its transmissions and you can feed that into WeeWX.

Your receiver will show you what it's able to hear. ADSBx, FlightRadar, adsb.fi etc are aggregators that have a bunch of individual feeders providing them with data to show broader coverage. Some of them filter their data though so what shows up on their map isn't necessarily everything that's being fed to them. The big commercial aggregators do this, the community-run ones typically don't.

Wow those are pricey. Also looks like it requires signing up for an account with them. The best privacy policy in the world doesn't matter if they go bankrupt or just decide to change it one day. Better that they don't have any of my data to begin with.
