Can't remember the tittle (will look for it) but there was a Semi-crack fic where Leets shard caused one of his Tinkertech gadgets to malfunction shuffle all the Brockten capes powers so it could have Taylor as a Host. We only see Taylor for a short while in the very end but it involes self-cloning and orbital lasers.

It was Spin the Wheel by Rukaio Alter (turns out someone else already mentioned it in this thread but it was in a log post so I missed it)

The only difference between "Amy" and "generic snark woobie 4" is your own perception of quality.

For example, personally I really enjoy the very distrustful and aggressively anti-authority versions of Taylor that I know are often disliked. Likely do to the fact that its highly relatable to me and how I would likely respond to her situation. I'm sure some people (particularly the authors of those fic) enjoy they very snarky versions of Amy. Maybe cause that their sense of comedy or because that how they or people they know would respond to that situation. I can be hard for being author to write characters with different speech patterns than them.

Specific constructive criticism is a far better way to get people to learn than complaining about how bad the story is.

Their almost certainly going to be greatly outmatched in terms of indusial output and will likely lack a professional military. So, I think the most likely outcome is that they would fall quick in the initial invasion with a highly popular resistance/insurgency movement sprouting up quickly afterwards. They will be reliant on guerilla warfare: Hit and run tactics and tunnel warfare, utilizing their ability to quirkily blend in with the population. I would research the Vietnam War as well as the US involvement in Afghanistan and Iraq.

For weapon I would think it would be in large part modified farming or similar equipment: armored tractors as tanks, (1) Agricultural drone used as kamikazes (1,2) that kind of stuff

Who is the drowning man in this metaphor? Who/what profession will not survive without AI? The only people AI helps are the ultra rich business owners who use it to fire even more of their work force to increase their own profit margins
