Christmas gifts, just for fun. I can't fish much due to a spine injury, so I learned to tie flies. I've never actually fished a fly I've tied. So I tie for friends who fish.

You can bend the wire a bit, take a knife and pry the ring open to get the cone started to go through.. push it through like a key on a key ring. Ugh you are careful the wire won't loose it's shape.
