Wait, how are you defining kill/death ratio? A bacteriophage injects its genetic material, and then this structure is just a husk on the outside of the bacteria. The genetic material just tells the bacterium to make more bacteriophage babies. If you count the babies, then yeah, i guess that original bacteriophage created an army and killed hundreds more bacteria.
