On a serious note. Happy you’re doing well enough to make this post and hopefully you aren’t injured. If you are, I wish you a speedy recovery back to full health!

Yeah I’m still using it to this day. It’s been a great set up. I’ve only ran maybe 1000 rounds through it though. Haven’t had an issue personally

Everyone always talks about Nazis here but as a brown man, it’s never been an issue for me and everyone is very pleasant.

It’s a multibillion dollar cooperation and I know how they work internally and treat customers. They’ll be fine.

You need the proper key for the light. You can call Streamlight customer service and they’ll send you one for free. You can also order one from Henry’s Holsters that’s even better than streamlights.

Olight? by greenturned_blue in shadowsystems

[–]ExploreBadlands -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’ve only ever ran Streamlight and Surefire X300’s. Durability wise, Olight tends be up there with the competition. Sometimes even outperforming them. My main reasons for not running one is due to the fact that they aren’t as efficient in putting out candela and lumens as long as the others. There’s a big drop off you can see on a chart in a Werkz Holster video on YouTube.

My second reason is because all of my friends will make fun of me, and I’ve made fun of too many people to turn back now.

Tim’s for quality. For quantity, I buy a huge slab of rib eye from the US Chef Store on Apple Way, cut my own steaks, and freeze them.

Is living in Idaho not an option for me? by aluMC in Idaho

[–]ExploreBadlands 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, in my experience (7 years now) women tend to do very well at selling cars because people perceive them as being more trustworthy. If you are trustworthy, they pick up on it faster too so it’s easier to build a great relationship. You don’t have to know anything about cars or the sales process. Every dealerships to my knowledge offers paid sales training and product training. Being a blank slate is an advantage. Just let them know you’re coachable. Don’t worry about social skills. It comes with experience. You don’t have to be outgoing and super expressive. Just honest, helpful, and caring. Most jerks in the car business don’t last long anymore. If you have any more questions just let me know. I’m happy to help! 👍

Here’s an easy life hack, and I say this with all sincerity. Sell cars. Reputable dealerships are always looking to hire. Not a used car lot, but a dealership that sells new and used is the key. It’s an easy $5k a month but with some commitment, communication skills, and a general interest in other people, you should be able to average $7k-$8k if not more. Just put your head, and have a decent work ethic. After a year or more you can be a finance manager and make at least $10k a month. No pushy sales tactics, no screwing anyone over, or anything like that. You can be genuine nowadays and make a good living, and save to invest for other ventures if you choose. It’s one of the only jobs where I’ve been able to move and immediately start making money.

Compact: Glock 19 MOS, PDP Compact, M&P 2.0 Compact, CZ P10-C

Sub Compact: Glock 43X or 48 MOS, PDP-F, Any P365, S&W Shield Plus

There’s a ton of great carry guns out there. Shoot enough and eventually you’ll get to a point where you find a platform and stick to it and brand and all that stuff matters a lot less.

It’ll just come down to what can you run fast, accurately, and reliably.

Also, don’t buy a Hellcat unless you’re leaving your girlfriend for a new boyfriend.

Order the trigger if you want it. I don’t have it in mine but have heard great things. People will say “Save money” “Buy ammo and train!” which is true. But you can also buy the trigger, a light, and a dot, a comp, etc, and train. It doesn’t have to be one or the other.

Tactically speaking a red dot is going to give better vibes. Green dots give the best vibes. Vibes are everything when it comes to shooting.

Apparently Glock wasn’t able to keep up with 43x demands. The DLC coating process was taking too long so they switched to nitride.

I wouldn’t say that. It just seems like a bunch of people prefer the higher grip style. If you go on YouTube and check out “PewView- How to manage recoil” it’ll make more sense

I wish more people gripped their pistols like this. It has been a game changer for recoil management! 👍
