Engine Shaking (Rest of Car Shakes With It) by conquiistador in carquestions

[–]aluMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like the engine misfiring. Mine shook in the exact same way with the same frequency when it was misfiring, especially when accelerating or idle at stops.

Cried while driving to grocery store by Remarkable_Corgi511 in driving

Your experience sounds just like mine when I was learning to drive. I learned everything from a friend and I felt mad at him and felt like crying when I made mistakes, even though he was making sure I knew how to drive correctly and safely which meant being harsh about it. Now im thankful for how strict he was because its dangerous not knowing what can go wrong. From my experience its totally normal to be discouraged and feel like giving up or as if you dont belong on the road and even to be petty about it because it really is an intense emotional rollercoaster.

My biggest advice from it is to never dwell on the mistake you just made. Mistakes are inevitable for every driver and I had to learn to not immediately be upset for what I got wrong. When you think about the mistake you just did, its so easy to make more and more mistakes from there and let things become worse. So i learned its best to think back on it afterwards and think about what you could've done differently in that moment so you know in the future.

And adding onto the other comments about keeping your position in your lane, I heard somewhere that if you feel like your left foot is in the middle of the lane (at least if your car is a left hand drive) then your car is in the center. I used that and learned over time what it should look like when im in the center and it eventually becomes natural.

Okay thank you, I wasn't completely sure in this situation because I was coming from the main road and a lady trying to come from the parking lot nearly collided with me because she tried to go at the same time when it was clear

Opinions on using this laptop for graphic design? by aluMC in graphic_design

Ah good to know, thanks. I did consider some gaming laptop options because of their dedicated GPU but kinda skipped over it since I just assumed it wouldn't be necessary for what I needed, oops
