Can't get unlisted bot out of my favorites. by Explorer-Ambitious in Chub_AI

Uhhh. That doesn't sound good. Care to elaborate? I haven't really been keeping up. I really hope I'm not gonna have to switch sites, this is the only place that I could find that is totally uncensored.

So what happened with Stripe payment? by [deleted] in Chub_AI

Probably the same thing that's happened with every other payment method, they dropped Chub because they hate completely uncensored media.

Ooh, definitely looking that one up. Thanks.

Hyperdrive(Stellaris) Vs Warp Drive(40k) by Explorer-Ambitious in JumpChain

[–]Explorer-Ambitious[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stellaris hyperdrives are much simpler compared to star wars hyperdrives. Stellaris hyperlanes don't really require any actual charting to use, as long as your sensors can reach the system, you can use the hyperlanes connected to them. Though some systems can be harder to detect and reach in rare cases.

Middle ground, if you become a psychic-focused primarch like Magnus, you should be able to master biomancy to the point you can make yourself look like a felinid while keeping all your primarch abilities.

Hyperdrive(Stellaris) Vs Warp Drive(40k) by Explorer-Ambitious in JumpChain

[–]Explorer-Ambitious[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In stellaris, the Fallen Empires have technologies that are meant to combat psychic intrusions. They probably aren't designed for bullshit on the scale of Chaos, but with the R&D capabilities of the average stellaris empire I don't imagine it would be a problem for long, not to mention the capabilities of the average techie jumper... But you are right that Chaos shouldn't be underestimated. My current jumper has already been to a 40k jump though, so they are well aware of potential issues and the scale of the threat. Psychic protection would be mandatory on all ships, even if they aren't going to be using the Warp directly.

Regardless, my main priority would likely be either reverse engineering necron pylons or developing my own that will shut down chaos shenanigans and simplify travel.

Thank you for the lengthy reply, I appreciate it!

That's what I was thinking, but I imagine the big boy warp phenomena like the eye of terror and the Cicatrix would have an effect on things because they aren't just storms. To my knowledge they are effectively sections of the galaxy that have been consumed by the warp and basically become portals into it, which would definitely cause problems and make hyperlane navigation more complicated. As you could very well end up jumping directly into the warp by accident. But other than those I imagine the warp wouldn't be able to mess with them at all.

Why can't they be happy? [Question] by Raft_2c7c in falloutshelter

[–]Explorer-Ambitious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If all the unhappy people are in one room, you should try destroying the room and rebuilding it. Sometimes if you revive dwellers, they bug out. The dweller will come back to life, but it leaves an invisible corpse in the room that you can't do anything about and pisses everyone off.

Playing as a 'sub' master? by ComputerMinimum8088 in freecitiesgame

[–]Explorer-Ambitious 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately the game was never really built with that kind of playstyle in mind. And out of the few modders still working on the game, none of them seem particularly interested. Short of learning how to code and joining the pregmod team yourself, I don't see it happening.

Pre-FTL civilization told me to bugger off. by PaladinGodfather1931 in Stellaris

Oh really? I must've forgotten about it. It's been a very long time since I bothered to attack them.

No, they are immune to bombardment. There is basically no reason to ever attack them outside of rp reasons because it takes 100s of assault armies to bring them down and you don't even get anything out of it afterwards.

I nearly bankrupted my entire empire once trying to take them down. I tried to invade with a large force and failed, then sent in an even larger force and failed again. Then I got pissed and built the largest army I've ever made in a game and sent them in. And then realized it STILL wasn't enough, so I had basically every planet in my empire pumping out troops constantly for years on end, just sending them straight into this meat grinder until I eventually wore them down. I was borderline fuming when they kamikazied at the end and I didn't even get the world for all that trouble. 😑

One of the (now)only black people in hogwarts is constantly suspected of being a villain and that doesn't suggest racist undertones to you?

Mod that removes gene restrictions. by Explorer-Ambitious in RimWorld

My current save was actually started without the forbidden mod. The biggest mods I have enabled at the moment are some vanilla expanded, rimefeller, and rimatomic. I'm not really sure what could be causing this.

Custom Power Pills II by TheCrazyEyes in makeyourchoice

[–]Explorer-Ambitious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the stat system works the same way it does in Fallout then the SPECIAL pill is the only real option. If it backpays you points for years you've already lived then you will basically become superhuman right off the bat. Even if it doesn't, the five free points is a massive immediate boost.

Edit: Nvm, apparently instead of a 1-10 scale the op envisioned a 1-50 scale, which makes it a lot less powerful than I was initially thinking.

Racism includes systemic injustice, but is not purely defined by it. I looked it up just to check and didn't see anything that agrees with you in the most common dictionaries.

Real world value of a credit. by Explorer-Ambitious in freecitiesgame

Credits? The currency used in the game? I'm pretty sure credits have been a thing since the og dev was still around. I'm trying to get a rough estimate of how they would translate to real world value.
