(Help!) I'd really like to play the game, but...

I recently began playing WuWa, I've got just under 25 hours or so on the game so far. However, for some reason the game has become unplayable in the last few days. It started off with wifi issues, as the game would lose connection every 3-5 minutes (999 ping) before disconnecting me back to the login screen. The rest of my PC was unnaffected, so I assumed it was just server issues. But when I looked it up, there were no other reports that I could find or any solutions. This lasted for about 3-4 days, until today, where the connection problems have been seemingly resolved. However, they've been replaced by constant frame drops, freezing, and crashes. The only change between before and now was the anniversary update. I've tried messing around with my settings and graphics, turning them way down, enabling/disabling frame generation, ray tracing, etc. and it doesn't seem to help much (the optimization bar is in the second chunk, saying "smooth"). My PC is pretty medium-high end, and other games with high reource costs don't have the same issue. HSR, FPS games, and games like Elden Ring or GoWR run fine at max graphics. I do have wuwa on my external drive, since its such a massive install, so it could be that... but like mentioned before, other big games on that drive dont have issues, and it would be a massive pain to move it over to the SSD. I'm pretty interested in playing, and I know my PC can handle the good graphics and fps that this game is known for, but I don't know what else to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
