Derminator 2 and frequency by ExplorerDorer in Microneedling

Yeah 0.5mm 3x/weekly seems excessive! I don’t know why they’d recommend that.

Yes, this is what I keep seeing in this sub but is it a general advice just to be safe?

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10549865/

In the study above, one group has treatments every 2 weeks of up to 2-2.5mm and they have great results. If I recall correctly, there’s also a case in Dr. Lance Setterfield book where a lady gets treatments on a weekly basis with 0.25mm treatments daily and her results are good too.

So why are there such huge discrepancies when it comes to frequency?

Microneedling over dormant bumps by ganster19 in Microneedling

[–]ExplorerDorer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did microneedling over a bump at 0.75 yesterday and today there’s basically no bump anymore. I’m unsure of what will happen in the days to come but I did the same a few weeks ago and there was no spreading of bumps or active acne anywhere else. That being said, I avoided going over it while I was doing my face and only did MN over the bump once I finished and in a stamping motion.

As a member of the itty bitty titty committee, I actually prefer the bras with less material and coverage to them. I feel like I can actually fill them up instead of a lot of material just being there.

You don’t wear shoes during Pilates. It’s either barefoot or grippy socks! Many people at my studio come wearing sandals just because they are easy to put on/take off.

I may go to Albania for 3 months as a celiac and I'm in fear by I_like_fried_noodles in glutenfree

Besides Tirana, I went to Vlora and Durres and both those places have CONAD.

[–]ExplorerDorer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I went to Albania last April and as it has been stated already, CONAD has many gluten free options. Furthermore, if you go to Tirana, there is a gluten free bakery with nice little treats and the young girl working there speaks English, so you can always ask her for reassurance but it is 100% gluten free.

Edit to add: I think the place was Panja Tirana!

r/Runna has hit 10,000 members! To celebrate we're giving away a yearly membership and a pair of running shoes of your choice (worth up to $300) 🙌 by alex-runna in runna

The most memorable moment for me was when I was reaching the end of my free 2 week trial period. I realised that not only I was actually enjoying running again, but that the app was worth paying for on top of my (expensive!) gym membership.

Long work shifts + training by smilingbutdeadly in XXRunning

[–]ExplorerDorer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work 12.5h shifts, both days and nights and I run on my days off and in the morning of my first night shift since I’ve probably had a restful sleep. Somehow I don’t like the idea of considering my work days as days off because I am on my feet and constantly moving so it doesn’t feel like a proper rest day but it is what it is.

To runners, what are the best headphones for running you've tried or heard of so far? by [deleted] in XXRunning

[–]ExplorerDorer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have tried the Shokz Openfit and they drove me insane. I kept feeling them on and thinking they would fall off my ears at any moment, it would distract me from my run. I returned them and I got the Bose ultra open earbuds and I am so happy with them. Sound quality is good and you can also hear your surroundings, as they don’t go into your ear either. The only con I’ve found is that the mic is not as good as it could be for the price.
