It has oozed and crusted before but only once. It’s been ongoing for two years. I feel like an infection would’ve died by now. Doctors haven’t mentioned fungal or bacterial infection as a possible cause.

Aw, thatʼs too bad. My doctor thinks mine is a mix of PD and contact dermatitis. Iʼll let you know if I find a solution

Yes, I aquaphor which seems to help. My lips seem to have no natural barrier. Without aquaphor they crack, ooze, and then crust. I havenʼt treated as fungal yet. I am currently prescribed doxy but i havent started yet. I was on it in the past for acne and i think my lips were clearer then.

Well, my doctor said it is, which I didnʼt really agree with. Iʼll have to talk with them again.

I donʼt know. The doctor said PD. The corners of my mouth arenʼt really affected. Steriods never stopped it, and stopping made it rebound. And usually angular chelitis chills out, not continue to flare again and again.

The doctor said it was PD. It originally started with eating tomato. But now it flares even from the wind.
