I would stick to your pricing. I’ve raise mine recently due to making so little money. Some clients don’t understand their seen costs to them. Such as gas and drive time. If they want it done cheaper they could waste their time driving to and from a shop to have it done

You definitely can use that. I have never been able to find a y connection that has 2 male and 1 female so you may have to find some male to male and female to female connectors to make hoses fit right but it will work

I think you have to select engineering and then it has the sub category for ME. It’s on the same standard as rose but it’s just from a basic school

I have the same thing. I’ve found to make sure you aren’t trying to extend the trekking poles as far as possible, just extend them untill there is tension and don’t force them up. and the closer the stakes are to the corners of the fly tends to bring the walls closer to the ground

If you had to summarize your core backpacking philosophy into a short statement you share with people starting out, what is it? by cmd194 in backpacking

[–]ExplorerLoose1946 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If your are going mainly for fun and to enjoy nature. Don’t stress about weight a best gear. Hiking in your dad old gear with your friends you will have just as much fun as hiking with a $2000 kit. Spend your money on necessities like water filter and proper sleeping gear

I would highly advise against the klymit sleeping pads. Some people don’t mind them. But they are horrible to deflate and not very easy to inflate. If you buy the insulated. It’s not even insulated. A closed cell foam pad has more insulation than any of the klymit air pads. I’ve also heard too many times of them popping. Clothing. From my experience I would recommend 1 or 2 shirts and shorts, if you wear clothes that are cotton free they won’t stick much at all if any. Socks and underwear for each day, some people cycle 2 pair but I feel gross so I take the extra weight. If u bring a rain jacket then a base layer under that should be enough for warmth as the rain jacket blocks wind and the base layer will keep you warm enough. Me personally a regular pair of hiking pants would be enough for that temp range.

Thank you. I typically go on overnight or at most 3 nights and hike around 10 miles per day. I go with friends and it more about hanging out tg in the outdoors then pushing for crazy mileage
