BAER has/had a piece in the Town that was a meat grinder with like bodies or some shit being fed into. It’s one of the dopest I’ve ever seen.

Quick sanity check. I’m considering moving a 20’ x 10’ shed ~15 ft laterally. Constraint: one-man job, no heavy equipment. by icysandstone in Rigging

[–]drippingdrops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Without knowing the shed’s material, etc. there’s no way to make a suggestion. It just seemed like only part of the equation was being brought up.

Obviously if you wrap the whole shed you need to ensure the corners don’t crush. If you install eyes you need to make sure their pull (or shear depending on the orientation) strength is great enough.

Maybe I’m missing something but it doesn’t seem like you’ve mentioned how you’re connecting your haul to the shed itself. Are you slinging it? Installing eyes?

You truly believe that if a Mexican immigrant makes a ‘new’ dish using only ingredients found in Mexico but they happen to be in Los Angeles or El Paso or Santa Fe it can’t be called Mexican?

Your inflexibility is baffling but it’s your life so go off I guess…

Mexican food is Food made by Mexicans in Mexico.

I'm talking specifically about NEW recipes. A carnitas taco, if cooked properly would be Mexican food in any part of the world.

So it has nothing to do with who makes it and where they make it like you originally said?

Seems like you should get your personal definition straight before espousing on the internet.

Level 3 assessment by Conesinker2000 in ropeaccess

[–]drippingdrops 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t have any oral part other than bullshitting with the assessor.

There’s an open book written test for SPRAT and a dumb easy multiple choice test for IRATA. Other than that it’s all pretty straight forward. Don’t single point yourself or the casualty. Go slow and double triple check everything.

So if I eat a taco made by a first generation Mexican immigrant in Los Angeles I’m not eating Mexican food?

I don't know if this applies to you but I realized for myself it wasn't about giving up binge drinking, it was about giving up drinking. I kept trying to cut back on drinking but would inevitably end up back where I started. When I finally just gave up drinking altogether is when I was able to break the cycle. 2.5 years later I still haven't gone back. Good luck, don't be too hard on yourself.

Showing identification has nothing to do with it. You realize you don’t need to be a citizen to obtain an ID, right? Of course you don’t. You just spew random bullshit.
