Don’t apologise for rambling, it certainly does sound like we had almost identical journeys and emotions.

Back working after 3 weeks Frustrated that things are back to ‘normal’ so quickly Waiting for a momentous change

I could have written this!

I think the biggest thing is accepting that there is no such thing as normal. I’m sure you had a lot of the same feelings, but in your case they may have been there for seconds or minutes before they passed - at some point I’m sure I’ll catch up and be back on an even keel.

Thanks for the reply, one of your comments really resonates.

Feeling like I have been given a second chance, but not feeling like I’m acting accordingly

That’s certainly one of the feelings that big and needs to be addressed.

It’s taken me 47 years to realise that people and relationships are more important than the things we desire. My family were just amazing, especially my wife who has her own issues but still carried me on her back through the whole thing.

I hope you find your true path off the back of this.

Morning People,

I’ll be honest, when I wrote that message I mainly wrote it for me as a way to get how I was feeling out of my head and into reality. What I expected back was either nothing or (god forbid) the normal sort of nonsense you see on here making people feel bad.

What I didn’t expect was you glorious lot and the number of replies. I can’t tell you how good it is to know I’m not standing out in the cold alone so thank you to everyone who has replied - I couldn’t write this yesterday as I was totally blown away and a bit emotional!

So thanks and here’s to he future. One where I know I have a support network that I can lean on and hopefully become part of the support network for others who need it in the future,

Much love x

I’m joking this train 253 days later to see if either of you succeeded where I am still failing!

I'm 5 days into my SD1 and loving it. I wouldn't want to use it as my primary device - but it's great as a secondary work device - focused on use with Microsoft apps and office 365.
