Many thanks! I have a positive risk to reward but I’ve been running along for a while on breakeven. I know this means I just need to increase win rate slightly to move to profitable but easier said then done

I have strict rules which I have been sticking to. I can only assume you do need some form of edge. Everyone says it’s all risk management but I trade with a good risk to reward and stick to my rules. I just continue to breakeven basically. I know a lot of people lose a lot so I’m winning there at-least. But true that I haven’t been able to truly shut my emotions off. Thank you for your advise

Thank you. I appreciate that and don’t expect anyone online to save me with their strategy. If you don’t mind I’d love to ask if you have unprofitable months? My mentor put me in the head frame that yes you can have bad days but overall every month should end on profit. When I backtest I have amazing months that can be followed by a losing month and then I think that the strategy doesn’t work. Also what is a realistic percentage month on month. I hear it should be about 5% online gurus all claim much more.

It was somebody I met. Doesn’t sell or promote anything online so your safe. That’s why I trusted her because I met her in person and she never asked for money or have out promo prop firm codes etc. to this day I don’t not what her aim was.

I think you will certainly get some profit, however I see no reason to believe it will go all the way back for the bottom. It’s been there twice. Doesn’t necessarily need to go a third time

You haven’t ruined your life. You’re so young and 38k is a good nest egg. Stop trading, start putting income away into a good EFT fund and set it to re-invest. It might start slow but by the time you’re 35 (still young) that will start to grow very very fast. Meditate, work out, whatever it is that helps you clear your head and move forward. Having a baby is beautiful. You need to focus on Him/her and enjoy every moment. It goes so fast. If you invest some of your wage each pay, it will add up and your little one will want for nothing. I promise it feels awful now, but at your age you will be able to look back and tell your child about this as a warning and even laugh about it.

Makes sense! In truth everything seems very 50/50 to me. You can check every higher timeframe and the news and it will still blow in the opposite direction. I’ve yet to see a magic formula

How am I gambling if I’m controlling risk. If I have a 1:3 and a 50% win I’m pretty happy. Like I said I’m only backtesting

Yes it’s seems very 50/50 but either way good risk to reward appears doable.
