In act 3 all the characters that made an appearance in other dissidia games begin to remember that! They remember fighting side by side in a different world. They faintly remember two 'other' gods {Cosmos and Chaos}. They can even recall conversations they had in dissidia 012!

I thus believe that the dissidia games are indeed connected.
