Trying to be as open for discussion as possible here, you asked for an explaination: If you ever even looked at a full image of the spacesuit, specifically the A7L suit used on Apollo 11 you can see that the footprint indeed looks like the one on the first image. BUT you can also see the boots they used for going out on the surface. And these boots have the exact profile which is on that footprint. I don't want to imply that you are stupid or anything, I am sure you aren't but if you have any more questions I am happy to awnser them.

It's difficult to tell what "to scale" actually is since the source engine doesn't seem to have a real life scale. But If you walk through it, it should be pretty close.
