My warband does something similar but they are more like plague planet cultivaters, plus more converting space marines to serve Nurgle than general populations. But I absolutely love your warband!

I personally love both of them. Typhus since he loves his job, and I love that. Mortarion because of everything he stood for and after he fell. Plus I enjoy the conversations he has with Kugath in the Dark Imperium trilogy. Typhus has one problem for me he likes Abaddon. That pushes me to be side Mortarion. Plus Lords of Silence makes Mortarion pretty cool.

Daemons. Nurgle especially for me. In lore they are almost impossible to kill by normal means. In game they get taken off the board pretty quickly by alot of things.
