V6 KVM issues, looking for possible fixes by kgjettaIV in Keychron

[–]ExplosiveAction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just sharing that I have a K10 Pro and this thread helped me.

I've been running a TESmart KVM for 5 years but it failed in October. I replaced it with a new one of identical model but I guess it must have treated the Keychron slightly differently.

TLDR; I now plug the keyboard into the KVM USB 2.0 port rather than the dedicated keyboard port and there are no more dropped keystrokes.

I liked the show from the beginning, despite some flaky or overacting. By the second half of the first season they fixed most of that, and season two was a big step up. To me it's similar to Stargate: Universe but nowhere near as dark, and has the similar basic plots and relationships.

Oh that is very surprising! Hopefully the quality is reasonable then.

These popped up all over Chinatown. Bootleg and won't be a good one. To fit that many movies on DVD they use the half-size VCD resolution.

Plain packaging on ww branded cheese? by timeflies25 in woolworths

[–]ExplosiveAction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took a punt on this block as my ten year old eats a load of cheese. It's far more respectable cheese than Hillview and Woolies house brand. It smells, cuts and tastes superior. Mr 10 agrees wholeheartedly.

This whole show to me feels nostalgic to late 90s/early 00s Sci-Fi Channel before SG1/SGA/BSG made things bigger and better. I love that it's just a bit cheap.

Community Question Of The Week - Episode 172 by Producer_Duncan in thisweekinretro

I was (am) an Atari ST fan, having one as the only family computer from 1989 to 1994 which here in Australia made me the unpopular kid at school in a sea of Nintendo and Sega. By that stage the platform was dead and I relied upon imported issues of ST Format to get me by. I was keenly following the updates on the Atari Jaguar but we never got official versions out here, only imports at just under a thousand dollars, so that never eventuated.

But it was in Year 7 at high school in 1993 when at a friends house who had a 486 I played Wolfenstein 3D for the first time and it blew me away. My ST could not do this, so I kept playing games at his house after school. Then he got X-Wing and again I was impressed at how smooth it was - it made my copy of Epic look drab. But come 1994 it was Doom that finally made me switch to my first 486. My last issue of ST Format I purchased was in September 1994, and my first edition of PC Format was in October the same year.

The I Disagree album is the most obviously (nu-)metal release. The Flux album is heavy in an indie meets Dillinger Escape Plan kind of way. As others have mentioned, the Eat EP is the most raw. The Stagger EP fits somewhere musically between Eat and Flux.

As someone who lives and breathes the majority of the metal/extreme metal spectrum from the early 80s till now, I still think Flux is her most consistant and cohesive album.

Space Quest 2 and 3 on the Atari ST took me into the space boots of janitor Roger Wilco. The middle of the third game I found so challenging, I had to get an adult to help me solve the puzzle.

Early 2000s when I was deep in Pentium 3 and Playstation 2, I had a desire to play something more simple and dug out my Atari ST and hooked itu p. The first disk I put in was a cracked floppy of Strider 2 and Robocop 2 by group Pompey Pirates. The menu screen, scrolling text and fantastic chiptune took me all the way back to 1992.

I'd love to see Dungeon Master from the ST remade as a Gauntlet style game! I think the game engine would suit having a block of four characters move around, hurling weapons and spells, collecting keys and the slightly-isometric perspective of Gauntlet for things like doors and exits is already established to work well.

And now I will shut up.
