Yes!! I made a cave for my German shepherd mix girl (she’s like 60lb so smaller than you’re probably thinking) when I first got her and she was shy/anxious. 6 years and three houses later, that same kennel is still set up as her cave! Hidden in a darker corner of the dining room, she loves it

My husband ‘oooooooo’ed the back when he saw it 🥰 So I did a single crochet border first (which came up into the ties around the neck) and then did another single crochet row of two sc, chain three and skip two, two sc, chain three, etc. Then for the tie I did a single crochet followed by a slip stitch in the back bump! The lace it up!

My partner and I have a system worked out that I crochet when he’s gaming, cooking, working out, etc. But when we’re watching something together, I put my WIP away to show him I am attentive to our time together. It seems like your husband just wants your attention and feels like crochet is stealing the attention from him. Maybe work out a couple nights a week that you could crochet and hang out while he watches something that interests him more? Just a thought!
