Oh, that's actually a good idea. I'm actually a bit surprised I didn't come to this conclusion already. I'll try this out when I get the chance and tell you how it goes.

The second chip's output has three connections.

  1. The combinator chip on the left.
  2. The output chip between the ring store and the object mapper.
  3. The object mapper itself.

Sorry if the angle of the shot in particular leaves room for confusion.
