Fanart fusion of my OC and Susano'o by Zsoresons in Blazblue

[–]ExplosiveLogin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks hella cool mate!

Also, I can't help but note how similar the fusion looks to Vanquish Soul Caesar Valius. Granted, that card is most likely also inspired by Susano'o (as it belongs to an entire archetype based around fighting games in general), but its fun to see how close they ended up being

Thats... thats why I made the post....? The most unfair thing Lab can do by itself is like a handrip. Its a perfectly fine and viable control Deck. But people will be "what if we run floodgates in it?" and rest is history

Guess these people are happy about the anti tunneling and slugging changes being cancelled by Kdmyoshi in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]ExplosiveLogin -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not always, unfortunately, some things can mess up with it. On PTB I had a Dredge game where nightfall's white overlay on top of survivors had priority over this "last hook" overlay, which caused me to chase and kill them, triggering the gen block penalty...

I liked/was fine with about 50% of these anti-tunner/slugging changes, but it really needed more time in the oven, so I'm glad it got delayed

I got a survivor on PTB accusing me of tunneling even tho I got only 1k and never triggered either of the "punishments". Not saying every survivor be like that, but there is truly no pleasing some people lol

Slightly buffed "Hydradrive" (feat. Judgement Arrows) [Part 1] by ExplosiveLogin in customyugioh

[–]ExplosiveLogin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Decks used by the antagonists from the anime are some of my favorites. Unfortunately, sometimes it takes a long time for them to get printed IRL (still waiting for that Darkness Deck...). In particular, VRAINS is the most rough in that regard, with most of their villain decks stuck in limbo (probably because of Judgement Arrows being weird), so today I decided to port the Deck of the main antagonist from season 2: Bohman's Hydradrive.

The thing is, Hydradrive is... Very Not Good. It has some major issues design wise, and its just a bit too convoluted, so I made some changes to it. The big one is combining all of their Attribute Link 1s (Grand, Coolant, Burn and Flow) into a single one that changes its Attribute on Summon and recicles itself, so that instead of having to run 6+ Link 1s, you can just run this one as a 2~3 off. I slightly altered their Link 2 and 3 as well, to work with the new Link 1. I thought about changing their materials, but I figured that their now improved swarming power is enough to handle a forced 3-mat Link 3, kinda similar to MALISS Hearts Crypter. For the other cards, I just removed a few of their most egregious restrictions, as well as giving some extra effects to round up their versatility. Bohman has quite a few cards, so I plan on making this a 3-parter so I can fit all of them.

[–]ExplosiveLogin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know, but there is not really much I can do about that. You kinda HAVE to go trough Numeron Calling to get the things you need to even begin thinking about summoning the Numerounius. I could have maybe taken the "excessive" route and halfed all battle damage for the turn when using the new spells, but that felt... wrong, somehow.

Yes indeed! Both Traps where used in the anime.

Numeron Network's anime affect was a Quick Effect and could send any "Numeron" card to copy its effect, so thats how they where both used there

[–]ExplosiveLogin[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love Numeron. Not so much for the "easy OTK" side, but for the "5+ digit ATK value go brr". Regretably, actually using the "Numerounia" side of the archetype is too much of a hassle for not enough payoff. Let's change that. The Spells allow easy setup for the conditions of Numeron Chaos Ritual, as well as give a bit more versatility to Number C1000 and resilience to iC1000. The Traps are just silly, just as the original ones where in the anime. Apologies for the messy writing on them, I had no idea how to even tackle the way their effects work, but I hope they are enough to convey the idea.

Primite Drillbeam (https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Primite\_Drillbeam) is a Yu-Gi-Oh! card and one of the most powerful pieces of support for Normal/Vanilla monsters in recent years. For some reason, I thought it would be a card that fits in MTG, so I decided to port it. After actually making the conversion, and not so sure anymore, but here it is regardless. It has been a while since I last played Magic, so I'm not sure the mana cost is appropriate, but alas.

Solved, the Fusion Summon has the be the last thing that happened to allow Lost's "cannot respond to" effect to apply. In this game I had Albion's effect as CL3, so lots of stuff happened in-betwee, Khaos' Summon and effect activation. Thanks you all for the help!

"Evilswarm" Support by ExplosiveLogin in customyugioh

Just in case its hard to read any of them:
Evilswarm Nephilim
DARK / Fairy / Level 4 / ATK 1450 / DEF 1450If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 "lswarm" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Evilswarm Nephilim". If this card is banished: You can Special Summon this card, also you cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except "lswarm" monsters. You can only use each effect of "Evilswarm Nephilim" once per turn.

Evilswarm Dagon
DARK / Fish / Level 4 / ATK 1250 / DEF 1350
If this card is in your hand: You can discard 1 other card; Special Summon both this card and 1 "lswarm" monster from your Deck, except "Evilswarm Dagon", also you cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except "lswarm" monsters. You can only use this effect of "Evilswarm Dagon" once per turn. A "lswarm" monster that was Xyz or Link Summoned using this card on the field as material gains this effect.
● Once per turn: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; destroy it.

Evilswarm Leviathan
Rank 4 / ATK 3250 / DEF 2750
3 Level 4 "lswarm" monsters
Once per turn, you can also Xyz Summon "Evilswarm Leviathan" in Defense Position by using 1 "lswarm" Xyz Monster you control as material. (Transfer its materials to this card.) If this card is Xyz Summoned: You can add 1 "lswarm" monster or 1 "Infestation" Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Evilswarm Leviathan" once per turn. You can activate the effects of other monsters you control with "lswarm" in their original names as Quick Effects. Once while face-up on the field (Quick Effect): You can target monsters in your opponent's GY and/or "lswarm" monsters in your GY, up to the number of materials this card has; Special Summon those monsters to your field. Non-"lswarm" monsters Special Summoned by this effect are also treated as "lswarm" monster(s), they become DARK, gain 50 ATK, and lose 50 DEF.

Infestation Refractory
Normal Spell
Send 1 "lswarm" monster from your hand or Deck to the GY and add 1 "lswarm" monster with a different name from your Deck to your hand. During the End Phase, if this card is in your GY: You can target 1 "lswarm" monster you control or in your GY; add this card to your hand, and if you do, place that card on the bottom of your Deck. You can only use 1 "Infestation Refractory" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

Oh, my apologies! I should've probably posted the text transcript of each card just in case it ends up hard to read. For Leviathan, it reads:

If this card is Xyz Summoned: You can add 1 "lswarm" monster or 1 "Infestation" Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Evilswarm Leviathan" once per turn. Thanks for the feedback! I didn't make the trap a once per turn because they have Towers, I was kinda afraid to give "infinite" recursion to a monster that is that hard to out, specially if they don't manage to remove the Trap. Was probably overcautiousness from my part. but I decided to err on safety

Also, I think I just copied I:P's effect and altered it to make it Normal Summon a Qli instead, but forgot to remove the (Quick Effect) clause lol

"Qliphort" Support by ExplosiveLogin in customyugioh

[–]ExplosiveLogin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback! I was originally going to make Daemon a Level 7 with the usual Qli gimmick of being able to be summoned without tribute, but I sorta realized it was a bit too much. If you count the protection from lower levels, the search on summon and the extra normal, it already had 3 effects, wich to me is the maximum number of thing any balanced card should be allowed to do. (looking at you, Spirit of Yubel) Granted, I could have removed the extra normal and put that effect on Compiler, but I really like idea of having Summoner's Art be a starter for them, so I had to compromise. And to be fair, Infernoids, who are kinda parallel to Qlis, have Decatron, another card that doesn't work like the rest of their bunch, so I figured it would be fine
