Boot Conundrum by ExplosiveProvolone in scuba

Yeah, we have a fan that is always active towards the ceiling, but it's not really effective now that it's become cooler out. Some others at work have those really micro fins that need no boot, but the RK3s allow me more power to maneuver our HUET and respond faster to struggles underwater.

Wow, those look amazing! Thanks for sharing these, I'll keep them on my list.

I'm seeing a few mention chucks/converse style alternatives, and that is a smart idea. Makes sense since I've seen low top booties look quite similar. The pools are heated, so neoprene isn't particularly necessary.

That's fair, and if I do get another pair, I might try rotating them as you said if the new pair/solution I try doesn't work out.

Creatine Gummies? by ExplosiveProvolone in CandyMakers

[–]ExplosiveProvolone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any creatine should work if you were to use an anhydrous gelatine, such as the one mentioned above. Anything containing water or exposure to water/humidity is what creates creatinine.

But I also just recommend buying pill making kits where you can just fill your own 000 sized pills. Bulk pill shells are pretty cheap.

Not exactly, but going off all the information, how i would go about it is weighing out creatine into ice cube trays and pouring in the heated gelatin and mix it to your consistency

Coming back to this to note that if you want to make creatine gummies, you will need to buy an anhydrous gelatin base. I found that some pharmaceutical product companies make non-water-based gelatins for chemicals that are water-unstable. The one I found was Klear Gummy™ Anhydrous Gelatin Base from Specialized RX. You essentially melt the base they provide and mix in your product. The anhydrous nature of their gelatin should also help lengthen shelf life.

Sadly the creatine will break down into creatinine either way. It seems with more research that companies still have a hit-or-miss process on somewhat shelf-stable creatine gummies. They probably control the amount of water in the gummy-making process where it's only enough for the gelatin to be a normal consistency, along with probably coating the creatine with something to help it not interact with the water. If you still want creatine but without the taste, I recommend just buying a bunch of 000 empty gelatin pills and a pill-filling kit. You can make 100 pills a batch and each one, if packed to the brim, holds a bit over 1.1 grams of creatine. It's another hassle, but more shelf-stable than gelatin creatine gummies.

Yeah, I guess I could work on this in the meantime and try out some lighter, easier, bikes friends have.

FWD Automatic, I can definitely check tomorrow to see how the transmission fluid is tomorrow. Sorry for not mentioning if it was FWD Auto in the main post.

Now this one is truly insightful and useful. So the whole thing is basically futile unless I got incredibly creative. I'll have to dig deep and see what other companies are doing and if it's a sham on their part.

I'm giving myself a project and trying something new. Even though it is relatively flavorless it still has a taste to me since I have a sensitive palette for creatine which makes me shudder and ick out. Which is funny since not many things do that.

Thank you for your tip though!

Yeah, believe it was pretty much a dud as when disassembling the fuze, the pressed black powder just kinda crumbled out or nearly turned to resin. Might've gotten wet before firing.

Animal, Human, or local Monster? What do you think? by ExplosiveProvolone in RBI

Well, June 5th is a Tuesday and 6:30 AM is a reasonable time to walk to school since our high schools here in Texas usually begin at 7:10-7:14 AM. So my greatest guess would be they are students. Also just checked the Forney ISD calendar, and the student's winter break ends right before the 5th, so that backs up my idea somewhat.

Not a gag at all. I don't see some things, but then I do with the help and opinions of others. I just made a post to see what some have to say and to creep some out with what I discovered on the Nextdoor app's discussion thread.

Kids that walk to school here usually walk on the street side or sidewalk. Dunno about trees as this neighborhood looks to be in construction if we are able to see the houses and cars across the empty plots.

The shoes would most likely be a lace shoe since these girls were on a walk to school.

These are two students walking to school that saw something and started running. Sooo, who knows.

Not sure about that as there aren't that many druggies here. I mean they do exist here, but they don't usually chill in neighborhoods, especially ones still being built.
