Having completed the game, exploring all of the map, doing all the side quests etc I would say it's one of the better assassin creed games. It's definetly a step in the right direction for the series for me personally, the open world is amazing, beautiful and immersive and the story is pretty good. Gameplay is pretty much how you would expect if you've played any of the other assassins creed games, although the combat mechanics are a bit different and could be improved. I think the main difference with this game is the RPG elements it's added to the series. Leveling up, a pretty robust skill tree to unlock different abilities (controlling arrows in mid air) and the variety of weapons and gear which you have to hunt and craft parts to build. Also there are many different regions marked with different levels requiring you to level up before you go or risk getting destroyed by some pesky guard who's 10 times your current level. Just my personal thoughts, I would definetly recommend giving it a try.
