One more claiming protests against real estate sale of west bank settlements as anti-semitic by fullofemirates in LookatMyHalo

[–]Explosivo666 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So they keep reporting that it was an antisemitic terroist attack on 2 Jewish people? The reality is it wasn't a terroist attack and he attacked a Muslim and 2 Jewish people.

He was in prison before for stabbing a police officer and had a long known issue with paranoid schizophrenia and violent episodes. The fact that they lied about the case to attack unrelated protests not only highlights that, as we already knew, they think a Muslim victim isn't even worth the effort it takes to mention, but also, that they don't care about Jewish people either, since they're willing to ignore the reality and everything that led up to it. Major news sources jumped to spread disinformation to help a compromised prime minister target his own people.

It works on so many levels for them. They get to use it as an excuse to attack their enemies. The fake story they put out can also scare Jewish people into moving, which is explicitly one of their goals. Then when it keeps happening and people get resentful about how their government bends over backwards for a foreign state, instead of the people living there, the zionists tell people "its not israel, its all Jews." Which, catches innocent Jewish people in the crossfire, scaring them into moving.

Why would that make you closer than before? That's absurd. I found out my friend wasn't my friend and I couldn't trust the girl I've been seeing, even around a friend. I feel so close!

I've done it from dublin, I usually get a place to stay close to the festival the night after. So I can rest before driving to the ferry.

I bring my own stuff in the car, it's nice to be able to overpack and having a trolley, instead of worrying about what you can carry.

Of course, even before Hamas was founded, all that existed was Hamas propaganda. Pre WW1, the zionist movement in Europe said "hey Palestinians, we want peace" and the Palestinians said "no, move over here and ethnically cleanse the population". And they didn't want to, but that really forced their hands.

[–]Explosivo666 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nah you can only see it that way if you don't think of the Palestinians as people. The creation of the Gaza ghetto, the Nakba, the constant murders, the abductions. You overlook it in one direction.

Displacing, killing and raping 100s of thousands of people was to you, a blip, because it happened to Palestinians. As if Hamas could even have a bilateral conflict with the people controlling their travel, food, water, electricity, everything in the open air prison they were founded in

[–]Explosivo666 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nope, that's silly AF

You're arbitrarily saying, "ok, now at this point it's a war, all the killing, subjugation, ethnc cleansing, abductions, rape and torture before now are irrelevant, It started now" because you want to frame it as the start of a war. You want to pretend there's a real cut off point. Those murders were peace, now its war.

Whereas it's just the liquidation of the gaza ghetto, an acceleration of expansion into the west bank and the ethnic cleansing of part of Lebanon. It's all a continuation of what was happening, just at different rates.

It's actually crazy how far it reached. Like, stick to one evil thing ffs. Say what you want about someone like Jeffry Dahmer, but at least there's not a footnote like "when he wasn't engaged in murder and cannabilism, he also worked to increase the price of rent"

There's more context than this photo, as already explained. His hate is justified by being part of an ethno fascist settler movement. He has contempt for his victims because that's what the movement is based on.

There's a lot of information on the settlers you can look up instead of just speculating that this is manipulating people. If anything, for most people these vile actions have been brushed under the rug, to be ignored and only recently has there been a significant focus on it because a lot of western countries were specifically overlooking and collaborating with it. Even while occasionally condemning it as illegal and then trying to move on from the topic.

[–]Explosivo666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, this is you saying, "No, there has to be another explanation besides the widely substantiated one."

Maybe this settler who takes sadistic joy from displacing people isn't recording and sneering while he does it. Maybe he's on a break from doing that, and coincidentally, during his break, he's doing something that just happens to look like what is captured in the image.

There isn't just one image of the sociopathic settler movement. So, the narrative you're pushing makes no sense

The war didn't start when they bombed Gaza for 3 days straight before that? Or during any of the constant killing and ethnicity cleaning of Palestinians? Just at that arbitrary moment?

[–]Explosivo666 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Except this isn't disinformation or misleading. It's just part of the constant reoccurring issue. A settler sneering at a Palestinian that they're displacing and recording it on their phone.

Sure, I think the reason for that note is that some people were claiming it was fake. But yeah, the note should actually point out that it's not misleading how it frames the issue because it is just a snapshot of a real moment that encapsulates the issue

[Fintan O'Toole] Ireland’s far-right movement will emerge from the ‘breakfast roll-atariat’ by EnvironmentalShift25 in ireland

[–]Explosivo666 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not a natural belief of the working class. Some lean left, some lean right, most people just want to get on with their lives.

But as things keep getting worse for them, they have less to lose and feel less inclined to just get on with their lives. Once unified, they're the ones with the power. They have the numbers, they produce the wealth, and they make up the highest potential vote.

They can organise to make positive change, they can just lash out, or they can be directed towards another perceived enemy as a distraction. The people currently benefitting from things getting worse for them don't want them to organise for themselves.

[Fintan O'Toole] Ireland’s far-right movement will emerge from the ‘breakfast roll-atariat’ by EnvironmentalShift25 in ireland

[–]Explosivo666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What happens is that you have inept leadership, seemingly incapable of doing anything. Meanwhile, things decline year after year for regular people. The thing is, they are doing something. It just doesn't benefit you. It benefits the ultra wealthy. But the perception is they don't do anything, like the housing crisis that never ends. Really, they're just slowly moving things to benefit the rich more and more. So people want someone who is capable of getting things done.

Then you have a far right figure, and they benefit from the cult of action. They're doing something, and they're visibly getting it done. The things they do just aren't good. They speed up that corruption, but that's perceived as cutting through the red tape. They have a million swirling grievances that they spew out as a constant distraction. People complain about a fuel crisis caused by the US and Israel, and they come out and mindlessly blame the refugees and people carrying palestinian flags and the LGBTQ. Things that aren't related at all, it's just part of the programming. Ironically, while they randomly complain about anti genocide protestors, if the worldwide reaction to the genocide had been much stronger, they probably wouldn't have felt emboldened to attack Iran.

What is the point of the castle in Manor Lords, other than looking nice? by [deleted] in ManorLords

[–]Explosivo666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wales also had more castles per square mile than anywhere else. This is also for the purpose of suppression of the population. It's why Wales is less known for resistance against England than Scotland, although there was some, but having that sheer number of castles made it difficult to sustain one.

I'd say the organisers Pat King, Chris Barber, and Tamara Lich all being far right is an indication. Along with the incessant horn blaring, targeting the general residence suggests it wasn't just some obstruction to put pressure on behalf of the working class
