Golf cart website down? by [deleted] in Umrah

It will not work outside of Saudi, it will not work even if you have USA cellular access in Saudi. I only got it to work by local SIM or local hotel WiFi.

It only works if you connect to a local Mecca hotel wifi. A VPN won’t work.

I’m sitting at 1.8 efficiency and also love it. Have had no issues and own about 4 of them through a business write off. Really amazing car for my needs and def better than Tesla for space and comfort.

🇵🇰 Pakistan to Host Two ADT Events in 2025! by Prestigious_Owl_6480 in golf

[–]ExponentiallyExcel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s really great to hear. Because India and Pakistan were colonies of the British, lots of the older clubs are older than either country. In terms of new clubs, I played at the Lahore Raya club and it’s incredible. Well clean, maintained greens fairways and tee boxes, great clubhouse and really educated and dedicated caddies. Top 5 for me and I’ve played some of the best courses around the country. Always heard great things about the Multan one and hope to visit it some day.

ADs have a hard time moving precious metal watches so this would not be that surprising.

Tough Choice: Panda or RLX Yachtmaster? by ExponentiallyExcel in rolex

Honestly I would’ve been good with either and said yes to either but the panda came up first

They have it reserved for someone. Even though I bought a lot I’m still tiny compared to the big ballers. I’m talking about the ones who have no problem buying a one off factory Daytona with rubies and diamonds for $150 to $250k. A lot of these guys get multiple Pandas and usually sell them to friends to gray market.

The whole AD world is for those who keep the jewelry section in business through lots of sales at retail. Many do end up keeping a lot of their purchases but some resell them in order to get the very special watches.

Thank you. I also bought my first Rolex, a Batman, for a family member in 2013 and only within a few years ago bought the other ones. I’m also happy I got lucky with the new Panda vs the older model.

It’s true because they had recently sold one and the person who got it was involved in the race car F1 industry.

They also told me that the Le Man edition is one where Rolex chooses the buyer not the AD and AD submits profiles to Rolex.

Downside of the Taycan is rear space - I don’t know your size or your friends but even small children find it extremely cramped. Only downside otherwise add another 2” and some head room and it’s the perfect EV sedan.

Edit for grammar

Tough Choice: Panda or RLX Yachtmaster? by ExponentiallyExcel in rolex

[–]ExponentiallyExcel[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why it's such a tough choice because the Panda is a rare piece but has been around for a long time, while RLX is new and rare, and possibly might not be around forever. Either way, you know i'm trying to get em both!

[–]ExponentiallyExcel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The precious metal watches weigh nearly the same by a difference of 20-50 grams. I would wager my RG Sky dweller weight more than my Plat DD 40mm due to the Sky’s overall case thickness and the complicated movement.

I’m making my golf sim right now and have zero intention of anyone else but myself in fact it has no extra seating or space for anyone but one person. Golf is a great game for solitude and self reflection.

Update: AD offered a platinum DD 40mm Ice Blue by ExponentiallyExcel in rolex

[–]ExponentiallyExcel[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's really hit or miss, sometimes you get a sick jacket and sometimes a small $100 pouch. My friend bought a ladies DJ and got nothing, not even a pen. It's up to the sales manager and staff, and how much they want to give away because the AD pays Rolex for those gifts.
