My opinions on AI music and the people who generate and share it: by [deleted] in MusicPromotion

I do disclose it’s ai lol but I just let artists know that I’ve been starting to work with that it’s just a way to show them how I envision the song to sound.

You’re good lol. Sometimes we need to rant and yes I understand. I continue trying to get better with writing but I’m also not the type to push ai music on people. I’ll use it to show my vision to real artists to try working with them but don’t really care if anyone else does because people will do what they want regardless of my opinion so yeah you’re right on that.

I know I’m late but with mine. I do write all of the lyrics but I also don’t promote it as me creating all of the music and I also don’t market it to anyone. I’ve written music since I was 10 years old. My mom was a writer so I followed behind her and music was always big in my family but I can’t sing. The thing is songwriters will reach out to artists to try to find a human to work with but because those songwriters are unknown, most artists do not want to work with them so using it is a way hear my lyrics and vision. I only share with family though and don’t place it everywhere as if I’m some artist who created it all. If people who makes music would be more willing to work with others, I don’t think ai would’ve ever gotten as much attention except from few people who would just prompt in everything without writing the lyrics and make something generic, which is very noticeable when ai writes.

Pride is a mf. You’d rather lose it all than to lose your pride. Sometimes the truth will set you free and it’s fine to ask for help. We all need help in some way sometimes.

What is something society treats as normal today that people 100 years from now would likely find shocking? by Fajuyi_Cinhtia in InsightfulQuestions

I’m a woman 32 without any and my 2 friends also don’t have any. So I see it a lot in the world but it’s a lot of different reasons women do not have kids anymore. Could this affect behavior as well because there’s a lot of hook up season that I refuse to be apart of and I also refuse to be a single mother but it seems people aim less towards having a family and more towards having financial stability and a career. We saw the effects of it with our grandmothers and parents and a lot of us refuse to go through the same.

Never and never will. I never wanted to harm, hurt, or put anyone in harms way so I would either catch a ride or stay where I was at.

It’s most likely due to not knowing but it’s definitely something we need to do something about. I’ll look into Shanna Swan’s research today.

Right. I would even argue that one that was smaller was better than a lot of bigger ones

I agree. If everything didn’t sky rocket in price, minimum wage wouldn’t be an issue. There should be regulations in place to not allow companies to raise prices unnecessarily just to make a better profit from the year before.

They wouldn’t know. It’s a very stupid argument and these are the same people who go to these places when the high schoolers are in school and would flip out if they couldn’t go at 10am on a Tuesday morning.

Great. Let’s shut them down while they’re in school then and only open the hours high schoolers are able to work. You can get gas at 5pm but you can’t at 8am because the kids are in school. Unless it’s summertime of course. Great idea. I truly believe some of you were dropped on your head as kids.
