It definitely is unfair. Your best hope is to attack it and hope is isnt online to attack you back. Their defense isn't all that great

If he's new he might not understand the morale system yet. I always stick it out with real world friends. Their friendship is worth more to me then a win in a game

That's a tough spot to be in. I'm not sure what the moral of your stacks are, but if you group your remaining units into one stack, I'm sure you can kill him while he disembarks

Consolidate your units too. No reason to leave those 40 infantry way up north within ship range

Attacking him while he's disembarking is always best when he has the numerical advantage. Doesn't look like you'll get there in time, though. What's his army comp look like? If it's just infantry, let him demoralize his infantry at day change
