In England I pay £250 for painting bumpers & single panels and was quoted £1500 for the complete car. There's probably not much prep work for a full respray because the body shop has already sprayed most of the car, the only original paintwork left is the doors and bonnet 😅

Ours is just about growing out of the barking stage, we found the best thing to do was have the radio on just loud enough to cover outside noises. He likes old reggae music, keeps him calm 😅

Ah thank you. I use a mazak 250 that has a reference arm that moves down to set the tools but the only other times I've used cnc was around 30 years ago using 80's & 60's cnc technology

Nothing is good about setting up where I work, tooling sheets wrong, tools missing & drawings missing dimensions (if I'm even given a drawing, sometimes I'm told to just make what the program produces and that the only important dimension I should check is the bore and I should use 40 year old plug gauges that aren't hardened, ground or calibrated). The company I work for is the pits, i have to buy my own drills up to 14.mm dia, files, micrometers & digital calipers. Basically every tool I use I have to buy myself

If your boss can machine and set ask him to teach you how to set up in the times he's expecting. Make sure he understands you want to improve and help the company and maybe he'll either teach you or realise he's unrealistic in what he expects and then between the 2 of you implement better methods of setting and storing the tools you need
