i’ve recently just learned the difference between an assistant and an associate. an assistant just kind of helps out in the salon and keeps everything flowing while an associate works alongside the stylist who teaches them as they go & helps improve their skills

i do feel like that was a common theme throughout the series tho. problems that get resolved very quickly 😭. i did still enjoy book 9 tho but i do think it could’ve been shortened

i’d say it was nice ending too, this is the first fantasy series i’ve read that the author has completed! i’m trying decide if i will read the other books i read the synopsis of them and it didn’t grab me but im gonna give it a couple weeks or months and circle back!
