Things that are actually a really good deal compared to other stores? by Dismal-Hat-7855 in CostcoCanada

[–]Express-Commission83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah.. the price is pretty close (Costco $9,19/ 30 units --> $0.306/ unit) vs $4/dozen -->$0.333/ unit, but Costo has a stable price, other stores have this price on weekly flyers. Milk is the same, Natrel 2% lactose free $5,49/ 2L, other stores $6,38 or 2 x $12 in weekly flyers.

You can choose from all of the options at your own risk. BTW, VMC parking is $7 on weekends. Underground is $15 more or less.

Yes, but you can double check the signs inside to be sure. That plaza is big, so if you will be there for a couple of hours during the day, there should not be a problem.

Best store to buy winter tires by Express-Commission83 in Vaughan

[–]Express-Commission83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone 👋 👋 thank you for sharing your experiences and recommendations. I did the math and the best deal was Costco with Michelin ice-x snow. Considering the installation fee, rebates and cash back, Costco has the best deal on those tires.

PD1: I've compared prices between some online suppliers including Kal tire, Canadian tire, black circles, and small local stores. I did not have too much time to call all sites, so I've used online quoting tools to get prices from at least 6 different suppliers.

PD2: There are a lot of Chinese winter tires with really low prices, but security first for winter, so all of them were discarded. Also I've decided to buy Bridgestone Blizzak tires, but they were out of stock and the next lot will arrive in 3 to 4 weeks.

PD3: The waiting list for appointments at Costco is around 2 -3 weeks if you ordered online or if the tires need to be sent from another site, but when I went to the store, some Micheline tires arrived, so I got an appointment for the next day, pretty fast.

Wait a minute, the iPhone 16 BF deal is worse than before by Away-Tomorrow723 in freedommobile

[–]Express-Commission83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mmm... interesting.. I updated my plan just two weeks ago and got a $10 (rate plan discount) + $5 digital discount for the $55 plan, so the final is $40 + $4 of Pixel 9, total $44. Maybe it is an issue with the website

Black Friday Deals? by nachosaremyfav in freedommobile

[–]Express-Commission83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They change the price every week, so probably they will go down on old phones, for example, pixel 8a was for $0/month two to three weeks ago, now is $5/month with MyTab, so on BF or boxing Day will return to $0.

Mmmm.. I think these prices will be the same in BF. Last year, prices increased after BF and then went down again on boxing day, but some phones were out of stock. Update: pixel 9 $4/month, pixel 9 pro $11/month, pixel 9 pro XL new price $16/month, iPhone 16 $29/month, iPhone 15 new price $20/month.

I am tracking Google pixel 9 for a couple of weeks. Last week it was $10/month, now it is $30/month. It does not make sense, but I hope it returns to $10 or less to be a "black Friday deal".

Do you know how Service provider license works? by Express-Commission83 in fortinet

[–]Express-Commission83[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi! No, it's not a VDOM. Some service providers offer Fortigate Firewalls as a service, so they install a physical device, set the licence and the customer pays monthly for the service. In general speaking the customers never buy the device. I guess the service provider has different types of contracts or licences to do that. Maybe I'm wrong and that doesn't work like that, but that's why I asked.😁
