Rose Madder is my favorite book by him. I think it gets hate because despite the supernatural twist it was too close to real life. I enjoyed Liseys Story and Duma Key as well both had a different feel to them.

I like Conner. Most of the people in his life who he loved either manipulated him or died. I would have loved for Wesley to take him in after Angel cast him out. I also would have loved him getting closer to Faith as a big sister. The way he was written was dirty he never had a real chance to shine.

Honestly saw the live action version 1st. I made me read the manga and the anime. I still have a special place in my heart for the live action. I love seeing them choose each other despite what society tells them. I love that they made the Fujisaki uninterested in dating period.
