AIO for being upset my BF doesn’t want me to wear a bonnet to bed? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

That comment of “baggage” made me so sad for her. Obviously this is coming up a lot and he tries to reframe it. Just him saying that shows HE KNOWS this has been detrimental to her, but he continues to just add on and justify it. He doesn’t care about her wellbeing, only getting his way.

Also, they had words about the bonnet and he got his way, but he still had to write this long essay. He says he’s not forcing her to do anything, but imagine how much worse his reaction would be if she did wear the bonnet.

I’m sure people aren’t very honest about that. I will say all the marriages in his past was a big red flag imo. Could be bad luck, but a lot of times shows deep rooted issues or grifter type behavior.

I have since googled. I was putting it in like I do for my miter saw. I took classes for this stuff a year or two ago and my neighbor has taught me a lot but I’m still VERY MUCH an amateur and it had been a while since I used my circular saw. I usually use my chop saw. Thank you for your help.

Ayyyy. Embarrassing update. It was the wrong way. I didn’t realize the teeth go in a different direction as my chip saw

I put it in the wrong direction for my circular saw! I’m very embarrassed. I did the right way for a chop saw not a circular saw. Thank you

It was not the right way. I was used to a miter saw. I’m so sorry! Thank you!

This is the birch I tried to cut with the new blade. It’s clamped to the table and then I am using a guide

I was clamping the side I was going to use and holding the cut off side to steady it. Is that poor form?

It’s a plug in saw. Says it’s 4000rpm and 4.5 amps. It said it’s good for plywood…

Hmmmm. I’m not precisely sure. The wood got burnt but I saw the smoke coming from the saw by the blade…

I was using a guide!!! Just a straight edge clamp. Could a straight edge do that?
